Excel WRAPROWS function
On March 16, 2022, Microsoft announced 14 new Excel functions. Most of them are text functions. Excel WRAPROWS function is one the most useful function. It is high time to learn about this function.
Summary:
The excel WRAPROWS function wraps the provided vector by rows after a specified number of elements.
Syntax:
=WRAPROWS(vector,wrap_count,[pad_with])
where,
vector = the vector or reference to wrap
wrap_count = the maximum number of values for each row. Where we want to start wrapping.
pad_width = The value with which to pad.
Example 1: We have the data in a single row, and we want to have the data below one another.
Answer: The formula (in B10) : =WRAPROWS(B4:J4, 3), which returns the table below “Data we want”.
Breaking down the formula in our example:
B4:J4 = The range of the data or the vector.
3 = is the wrap count, where we want to start our wrapping.
